Happy National Book Lovers Day from Washington State, USA. In honor of this lovely (and cheesy) celebration, I want to share 10 of my all time favorite books. These are stories that have stuck with me over the years, revisiting during idle moments.
- The Power of One – Bryce Courtenay
- The Girl with the Dragon tattoo – Stieg Larsson
- The Kitchen House – Kathleen Grissom
- The Chaperone – Laura Moriarty
- Me Before You – Jojo Moyes
- A Hundred Summers – Beatriz Williams
- Big Little Lies – Liane Moriarty
- Outlander – Diana Gabaldon
- Unbroken – Laura Hillenbrand
- The Girl on the Train – Paula Hawkins
Book reviews on these stories to come! How are you all showing your love for books today?
I’ll be curled up with a book of course!

Wow! I finally found someone who’s read The Power of One, and loved it too! Normally when I mention that book I just get confused looks :P.

I’m so glad to hear that you loved it too! The Power of One is a great book and I’m surprised that more people don’t know about it… Hopefully that will change!

from your list I have read only 3 though, might use it as a guide to pick my next book after I’m done currently on book 5 of 10 of the Malazan Series

That’s a great question! The list isn’t in order because each book is so different that I couldn’t decide how to rank them. Which ones have you already read? I might be able to give you a better recommendation if I know which ones are off the list haha

Those are all great ones! I suggest Me Before You by JoJO Moyes or A Hundred Summers by Beatriz Williams next. Both have a different tone from the three you have already read, but are really well written and engaging!
