About Me

ย For as long as I can remember, reading has been my outlet, my stress reliever and my platform into other times and places. A few years ago, I began a reading journal to keep track of what I have read and my thoughts on those stories. I am known among my friends as “the reader” and am continually asked for recommendations. Because of this, I’ve decided to share my reviews here so that others can experience the incredible books that I have so enjoyed myself. Happy reading!

For questions, comments, or review suggestions, please feel free to fill out the form below or email me at dreambydaybookreviews@gmail.com. I would love to hear from you!

  1. Random question: but did you happen to go to UW? I noticed you had a picture of the Suzzalo reading room on the side – probably my favorite place on campus ๐Ÿ™‚

    1. Thank you! We’ve tried making a book club a few times and it hasn’t worked out, but blogging about books has been great! I’d love to hear your thoughts on the books too!

  3. SamanthaWho, Very elegant blog…nice to have you notice mine. Always thought if I blogged about writing or my favorite books, and no one commented…did that mean my thoughts were like the proverbial “tree in the forest that falls…does it really make a noise if no one is there to hear it.”

    1. Thank you, that’s so nice of you to say. I enjoyed your post, I haven’t read anything by Don Winslow, but I think I may just add The Cartell to my reading list! That’s a great question though; I think that regardless of likes/comments, our posts matter because we are spreading love for the written word.

      1. Hi Samatha! Thanks for checking out my blog, seductivepeach.com, and liking my review of The Night Circus, by Erin Morgenstern. You might want to check out my two books: Zendoscopy, a coming of age story about a young man in the 1950s-1960s, and Spacbraid and Other Tales of a Dystopian Universe, a collection of fantasy and science fiction stories I wrote some years ago. A sequel of sorts to Zendoscopy is in the works. With luck (and a bit more inspiration), it’ll be published in the first half of next year.

Thanks for liking my post “Bag of Books.” I am a fiction inspirational author, and since you love reading books and writing reviews, I would really appreciate it if you would read at least one of my books and write a review on it. My website address is http://www.maxinebillings.com. I do have some of the older ones in paperback and can send you a free, autographed copy if you would like. Have a great day! ๐Ÿ™‚
